I am looking for the origin

What are you looking for?

The Girl with the Red Beret

With burger in my hand

Sitting at the patio bank

I looked down at the entryway

wishing to see something extraordinary

then entered the girl

with the red beret

With her man right behind

dragging feet as if he were banned

she walked from left to right

whispering to command

her eyes on the other hand

full of radiance and luxuriance

With a head like Einstein’s

moving with zombie legs

he wore a sweater that was ink black

hanging on his long narrow neck

his lips moved rather fast

anxious to get messages passed

But suddenly they sat side by side

with hands holding tight

legs intertwined

they looked into each other

melting the air in time

I then silently walked by

turning my head with a twinkling smile

oh, the girl with the red beret

blinking to me three times

it was such a delight

So You Think You Have Me

I heard you sneak in

locks turned and lights on

bowls filled, and you called out loud

But you would never know

I am watching you

on the ceiling and under the bench

in the sink and behind the couch

just waiting for you to get me the mouse

I saw you stare at me

your chin tilted and shoulders flexed

your lips smirked and cheeks relaxed

but you would never know

I am watching you

through the fences and underneath the surfaces

between the lines and beyond the fleshes

just weaving the puzzles to fit into my splendid romances

So you think you have me –

you are the master and the giver

the ruler and the receiver

I am the weakness and the softness

the openness and the constrained

but would you ever comprehend

mastery is built upon weakness

ruling must yield to constraints

softness embraces giving

openness cradles receiving

You think you have me

Think twice

Cloud

Last night a perfect cloud passed by

quietly and fiercely

in the dim sky

I reached out in time

Only from the edge

I pulled out a small piece

pasted it in my secret place

listened to its breath and beats

This morning I felt a lump in my chest

hot, heavy and expanding

I let it cut right through me

then sparkles, rocks and red waters

all out overflowing

It’s too late to scream, cry and curse now!

I heard myself saying

It’s too early to moan, panic and despair still!

I heard the world saying

It’s time to live!

I heard the cloud saying
